3D designed and then cast in silver. This process is called lost wax, sometimes referred to as cire-perdue. Once the model is cured, it’s encased in a material that looks like plaster. It is then placed in an oven (specifically for this process), like a kiln, and the resin/wax is melted away, leaving an imprint that is used to pour molten silver, copper, or gold. Cool, huh?
