We’ve paired a mammoth wasp with a gorgeous Dyed White Jade cabochon. Everything is connected spiritually, bringing you closer to your inner peace and nature.
We were able to capture the details of the wasp beautifully. Its wings show lines, curves even a little movement. You can even see the little hairs on the fore and hind legs. The details are just amazing. All of this is achieved through a process called electroforming. Basically, the design is placed in an electrolyte bath along with the sacrificed copper. The metal transfer from one surface to another creating beautifully scientific one-of-a-kind wearable art jewelry.
The handmade chain is 18 inches long. The pendant is 2 1/2 inches round. When worn it falls just above the breastbone. If you’d like a shorter chain simply indicate that at the time of purchase.
About the stone:
This jaded is dyed blue. When jade is dyed, it will gradually fade to its original state as time passes. There are lots of meanings and histories surrounding White Jade. It's believed to have healing properties and has been used for this purpose for hundreds of years. It's been said that it's a lucky stone for health, love, and business. When worn, it's believed to promote a feeling of calmness and peacefulness.

This species of wasp is one of the largest ones known, Megascolia azurea. These wasps are found in parts of tropical Asia and in Europe. They are sometimes referred to as mammoth wasps. It is said that if a wasp is your spirit animal it means you have an exciting personality and are able to project two sides in many situations.
